Introduction & Background
Our prestigious client requires a TIBCO software developer for the development and implementation of integration.  The successful consultant will be working in a developer role on the development of new TIBCO integration streams as well as enhancements to existing TIBCO reusable integration streams.  A dedicated resource will be required to develop, update, test and deploy integration streams as per project requirements, schedules and priorities.
Project Scope & Objectives
  • Support Client project EAI needs by aligning project requirements to the delivered solution.
  • Develop new integrations or enhance existing integrations while adhering to a defined framework and governance model.
  • Ensure delivered solutions are designed, developed and deployed according to company standards
  • Build, enhance, deploy and test integration streams in accordance to defined governance model;
  • Adherence to software development best practices in accordance with the organization’s development community;
  • Create or update support documentation and project artefacts;
  • Knowledge transfer of Operating Procedures to Application Support.
Essential Skills
  • Two (2) years’ recent experience developing integration solutions. This includes development, unit testing and deployments of integrations in a multi-tier environment in the following areas: 
    • Developing batch and real-time messaging services in TIBCO BW 5.1x or 6.x.
    • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) & REST services.
    • Extensive knowledge and background in XML & JSON.
    • Development experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Java,  .Net
    • Databases and scripting in Oracle or SQLServer. 
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
  • Able to collaborate with multiple teams and clients.
  • Able to support multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
Desired Skills  
  • Previous work experience with Municipal, other Government Organizations or equivalent endeavors.
  • Experience with HP Quality Centre suite of test tools.
  • Agile and Traditional project methodologies.
  • Ability to work with various IT Teams.
  • Experience working in multi-tiered environments.
  • Utilization of Team Foundation Server (TFS) / GIT.
