Introduction & Background
Our enterprise client requires a Business Analyst/Developer with extensive functional and technical experience in Content Server 9.71 and 10.5 environments, including Physical Objects, Records Management, and disposition processes. Must have experience in building web reports in both environments.
The contractor will gather, review and confirm requirements of every web report, determine the impact of the request to the environment, provide alternate solutions if necessary, develop and test the report, and migrate to the current production environment.

Project Scope & Objectives
The project will work with the business partner (Corporate Records) on determining the priority of the reports, gather, review and confirm requirements, and build and migrate the report to the current content Server 9.71 production environment. The report will also be built in the Content Server 10.5 development & test environments ensuring that system performance is not impacted. Prior to starting the next report, the client must sign-off that the report has been built to their requirements, documentation for the report must be completed, and transitioned to the IT Livelink support group.
Before starting the development work, the contractor must assess the impact of the request to the system and provide alternate solutions if necessary.
The contractor will follow Project Management Methodology in developing the reports, ensuring that all documentation is complete. Deliverables include:
  • Business requirements confirmed
  • Technical Solution
  • Change request(s) approved, when necessary

Essential Skills
  • 8+ years of developing and supporting business solutions building WebReports and LiveReports in Content Server 9.71 and 10.5 environments;
  • 5+ years programming experience in Java script;
  • 8+ years’ experience in Physical Objects, Records Management and disposition processes in Content Server 9.71 and 10.5, including configuration of the environments;
  • Experience architecting scalable performance and search administration in Content Server;
  • Functional and technical experience in all modules within Content Server 9.71 and 10.5, in a large scale corporate environment;
  • Working with IT and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, determining the impact of the request to the system, provide and document the best solution in Content Server environments.
Desired Skills:
  • 3+ years of workflow experience in Content Server 9.71 and 10.5 environments;
  • 3+ years with application development – specifically Oscript and Oracle database;
  • Experience with Enterprise Content Management and Information Management in municipal, government or large organizations;
  • Demonstrated business knowledge of information management, collaboration or content management practice in a wide range of business functions;
  • Demonstrated knowledge about a variety of applicable tool suites.
