Data & Reporting Analyst (Dynamics GP) permanent - hybrid

Location:  Calgary, Alberta
Position:  Permanent, Full time

Work Arrangement:  Hybrid  (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Target start:  ASAP
Basic salary:  Dependent on experience

This people centric company is currently looking to hire Data & Reporting Analyst to join their IT team, based out of their Calgary office.  


As the Data & Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible to:
  • Elicit requirements for custom SQL objects and report development.
  • Create custom SQL objects for in-house developed reports and solutions.
  • Create and maintain new and existing Power BI and SSRS reports to meet business needs.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and results in datasets and in alignment with stakeholder requirements.
  • Ensure high quality data is available for extraction as needed by developing and implementing systems to identify, track, correct and prevent errors.
  • Participate in database backup and recovery activities.
  • Act as a primary resource for data support, data management issues and reporting capabilities.
  • Other duties as assigned    


Qualifications Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics GP and DocLink database schema, data and business usage.
  • Post secondary Degree, Diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, Data Science or Analytics, or an acceptable combination of work experience and education in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience writing SQL queries and creating custom objects (views, triggers, stored procedures, tables).
  • Experience with data analytics and data science principles.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server is an asset.
