This people centric company is currently looking to hire Data & Reporting Analyst to join their IT team, based out of their Calgary office.
As the Data & Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible to:
- Elicit requirements for custom SQL objects and report development.
- Create custom SQL objects for in-house developed reports and solutions.
- Create and maintain new and existing Power BI and SSRS reports to meet business needs.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and results in datasets and in alignment with stakeholder requirements.
- Ensure high quality data is available for extraction as needed by developing and implementing systems to identify, track, correct and prevent errors.
- Participate in database backup and recovery activities.
- Act as a primary resource for data support, data management issues and reporting capabilities.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
- 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics GP and DocLink database schema, data and business usage.
- Post secondary Degree, Diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, Data Science or Analytics, or an acceptable combination of work experience and education in a related field.
- Demonstrated experience writing SQL queries and creating custom objects (views, triggers, stored procedures, tables).
- Experience with data analytics and data science principles.
- Knowledge of SQL Server is an asset.
